Charlotte's web is based in the 1900's. I think this because there is no mention of TV's and they Zuckermans and the Arable's both own Utes
It is based around 1980-2006 beacause it has mention of cars and television and electical devises.

Charlotte: She is kind, she thinks of others, she wants to help everyone, She is sweet and gentle and is very good at spelling and writing Fern: She saved Wilbur's life because she is thoughtful, caring, thinks about others, thinks everyone should have a chance to live Templeton: Templeton is selfish but kindhearted, he enjoys eating, and he is always looking for new items to put in his random collection Wilbur: Wilbur is a spring pig with a lot of energy, when he hears he is going to be dinner he faints, he is thoughtful, thankful, and like's to have a good talk with a friend. Fern and Wilbur: Fern and Wilbur share a strong relationship because Fern saved Wilbur life. Her father was going to put him down but fern said no and saved his life. Fern cares very much about Wilbur. She visits him every day at the farm. Charlotte and Wilbur: Charlotte also saved Wilbur's life. She wrote messages on her wed, the words explained Wilbur and made him feel better about him self. The shared the greatest friendship and they cared about each other dearly. Charlotte meant the world to Wilbur and Wilbur was the best friend Charlotte has ever had. They have fun together and they are sensible together. They truly are best friends. Fern and her parents: Ferns mother and father care and love fern. Sometimes they fight and disagree. When fern saves Wilbur's life ,from her dad almost killing him, she spends most her time in the barn with him and the other animals. Ferns mother was a little concerned because she was saying that the animals talked and that Charlotte was the best story teller. Ferns mother went to the doctors because she was worried. I think my favorite character is either wilbur or charlotte WILBUR: wilbur is always looking for a game, for some fun and someone to talk to, to trust. He has a lot of energey, He is Some, Terrific, Radient, Humble pig. CHARLOTTE: charlotte cares about others and not just her self. She wants to save wilburs life. She is loving and gave hope to a pig, she is a good writter and a friend.
Milli:Milli is my favorite character so far beacause she cares about Ernest and her family. She likes to have fun, and Adventures. but that is band after 4:00pm. She is daring and sometimes she is regretful of her actions.

The style of language used in charlottes web, it makes you feel like your there in the book, like your there with the charactres. It is very dicriptive. An example is the barn is very large. it was very old. it smelled of hay and i smelled of manure. it smelled of perspiration of tired horses and the wonderful weet breath of patient cows.
The style of language used in the story is very strong. It makes you feel like you are the children on the Adventure. Its begining is very different to what i thouht it would be but it still got me wanting to read it more and more.

I think my book is an example of classic literature because it has stood the test of time and both children and adults can enjoy reading it. It was published in 1952 and the themes in the book are timeless. The themes in he book are friendship,trust and love. It does not matter who you are or where you come from the theme is all about different animals becoming good friends, In a sense it is kind of like different people from around the world becoming friends and sharing friendship, trust and love. It is beautifully written and has won many literary awards.At one point it was the Publishers weekly listed book as the best-selling children's paperback of all time in 2000.
It is modern literature because it is very descriptive. It is good and good for kids our age and older because it was written by a girl that is 19-20 years old. The language used is strong and very explanatory.

Charlottes web is a fiction, fantasy and a little bit of adventure. it isn't the hardest or easiest book in the library.The themes in the book are friendship, trust and love. the bad thing is that wilbur (the pig) might become chrismas dinner. i loved reading charlottes web. i some cases i can relate the story to my life. it is a book that has a lot of detail and is very well explained. i ffound that the opening sentance was very grabbing like a hook. i would definatley read more books by the author or simaler genre.
Shadow thief is an Adventure story with a twist. It has a lot of fantasy but some of us can relate the book to our lives. I would recomend this book for 10 and over. For younger readers it might creep them out a little, or not. The first sentance puts you on the hook and instantley drags you in. This is book 1 of "The strangest Adventures" series so i would definatly read book 2 and mabey book 3.
